I’m Max and I am honoured to be the NAPSA International Pharmaceutical Student Federation (IPSF) Chair for 2021/22!
I am currently in my third year studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy with honours at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.
I am originally from New Zealand and have been here since 2014. In my spare time, I like to watch and play sports, learn languages and read.
As the IPSF chair it is my job to represent NAPSA to the rest of the world at world congress and meetings and events. I am also the student exchange officer and look after the student exchange programme run by IPSF. This is an internationally recognised programme and sees NAPSA host and send students all over the globe!
During my term, my goals are to increase awareness of the student exchange programme through increased campaigns or advertisement. The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped the exchange programme for most countries and impacted the ability for students to be able to conduct an international placement. I would love to start sending more students across the globe as soon as possible! In the meantime however, I would like to collaborate with other nations to offer a range of international virtual events to our students.
You can contact me via email for any queries you may have about IPSF or the exchange programme.
