About Kathryn:

Hi I’m Kathryn and I’m in my third year in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) course at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and I’m honoured to hold the role of Pharmacy Awareness Chair for the 2020/2021 term!

I have been heavily involved in my home branch QUTSPA (the Queensland University of Technology Student Pharmacy Association), where I was the First Year Representative in my first year and Treasurer in my second year. This year, due to the current climate of COVID-19, I have had the privilege to step up and take responsibility for two executive positions, Vice-President and Treasurer.

My role entails working closely with lifeblood to organise the inaugural 'Vampire Cup' as well as choosing and organising the charity for our Annual 'Charity Cup'. During my term, I aim to improve intercommunication between all NAPSA branches so we’re able to collaborate and achieve bigger and better goals. I also aim to bridge the gap between the wider pharmacy community and advocate for pharmacy students on a national level while continuing to spread awareness amongst the pharmacy community.
