Hi there! My name is Samantha (Sam) King- and, I am both honoured and excited to be your NAPSA Secretary for the 2021/2022 term. I am a final-year pharmacy student with the University of Queensland in Brisbane.; and, am a passionate advocate for the continual development and expansion of pharmacy practice, respect, and remuneration within Australian healthcare.
I have been incredibly fortunate to participate in a handful of pharmacy-related student leadership programs during my studies; and, these have undoubtedly bolstered my both my enthusiasm and passion for my profession in pharmacy. These experiences include: NAPSA’s Executive Director of Education and Professional development in 2020/21; National Student representative for the PSA’s Early Career Pharmacist Working Group (ECPWG); and, state-level representation through the Queensland Pharmacy Students’ Association (QPSA) as the current Secretary and 2020 Publications chair.
My role as the NAPSA secretary involves management of student memberships, secretarial governance, record keeping- as well as, facilitating and maintaining sponsorship agreements. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any questions or queries regarding NAPSA or myself - via firstname.lastname@example.org
